Had one of these babies.(1958 model) Drove the ass off it for two years. Had no reverse gear and no heater. Had to drive with the window open if I didn’t want it to fog up while drivin’ around Edmonton in -20 degrees. Great memories though. Wiped out against a guard rail once and had to repaint my ‘bug’ with a paintbrush and an ugly turquise paint. Toughest motor ever. Couldn’t kill it, no matter how hard I tried.
