Things will be slow for a while… move out of vancouver to the Oakanagan
on the bright side, it means that I’ll have a house and a garage within the year, so I might be able to start posting my own stuff again.
here’s something
the toyota starlet has never had a recall
just a random bit of info I came cross on the interblogs. kinda cool that a car soo old has never had a recall
A couple of more classic looking starlets
I really do prefer the original color and bodies.
The wheels are ATS Kleeblatt’s, not sure on the size but I like them
such neat little cars, many of these do end up with 4age swaps nearly doubling the oem horsepower…fun
starlet fun
If you don’t know what the toyota starlet is… don’t worry about it, you’ll probably never see one, it was only sold in north america for 3 years ’81-’84. the starlet had a K series motor (small and quite gutless) but it was rwd and there was potential for the determind….. at the very least the car was a happy little piece of toyota racing history.
this one of course belongs here with the completely dropped stance, flares, and the ssr mkII’s
The toyotas at JCCS
first of all this is DKer Pete’s car! it got quite a bit of attention, I have found many pics of it online… be proud Pete
this so far is the only Pic of seamus’s supra i can find… i can tell because the exhaust tips and the white hood
I love these old landcruiser wagons… mostly because in Canada we got the Hino diesel with them.
Thanks to japanese nostalgic car, motormavens, toygarage, SpeedHunters and for the pictures
another even more awesome ta22 celica
cool cool cool awesome…. and don’t even start trying to analyze whether or not it’s practical.. who cares…. you = fail, your brain = no
just love this damn thing

one thing to note… is the rear camber… these cars were solid axle… wish I knew what was in there.
Thanks to racer86 for finding this
All Japanese Classic car show
The japanese classic car show is this sunday, april 26th 9am-3pm!! I seem to miss it every year, but not this year! I’m sure my expectations are a tad too high but I’m still really excited, plus it’s gonna be a nice warm day and it’s at the beach.

Toyota Carina
this is a preliminary post, i’ll add more to it later…
the toyota carina would be an awesome project car, they are cheap, old, and based off the old ae86 rwd platform… oh and they came in wagon form. These would be awesome with a light tuned 4ag engine, some homemade coilovers and some nice wide wheels.
unfortunately they were never sold in north america, but I can at least blog about it.
it’s not for everyone, but I’ve always been drawn to the slightly odd 4dr and wagon siblings of the “sport” versions of certain cars. I I want all the speed and Chassis bits of the popular cars but with a more interesting exterior.

too bad this one is soo small…. I tried for hours to find the original

iflip. Cheap, fun, low investment = happy motoring
I flip cars and that’s all i do, maybe I like the hunt more then the kill?? no, I just want a car that does what it should. I liked the wagon for 3 solid months, same with the cressida…building cheap, neat, unique cars was seeming to make me happy. but when you spend 3-4 times the money and end up with more problems then the beaters gave you is just lame.
here’s some cool pics of cool, fun, unique cars that make me happy to look at. altho some are into the $$ range.
