One more car for the japanese show

This car use to belong to my friend Shaun, restored and modded, and it seems the new owner turbo’d it and got some wheels.
but this is the kinda 240 I was looking for at the show, i really cool resto-mod classic, i’ll try to get more info on the car and update this, but for now here’s the pics.

correction, my friend shaun also did the turbo setup

240z-01
240z-11
just damn cool.

sweet! i want one. but black it needs a modern interior. We need to do what Triumph does to motor bikes. Take an old good idea and add some modernity into it.

Nice job. I guess the front grill (treatment) will come later?

the grill mmm not sure, many of the modded 240z’s i’ve seen have left that out.
the details on this car are quite nice. shaun did the original turbo setup with a 280 turbo block, jun rods, fordged pistons, and that got him over 300hp to the wheels. the new owner has changed the turbo and increased the size of the intercooler, and probably cracked open the engine and it’s now producing ~450hp!
